Computer Repair In South East London

Pricing

Common repairs have a fixed price – screens, keyboards, hard drives, virus removal – and we confirm the cost before touching anything. For less predictable jobs we work at an hourly rate, again agreed upfront. No hidden charges, no “while we were in there we also…” surprises.

There’s no premium for South East London callouts. The prices are the same across all our London coverage areas

We come to you – no callout charge

There’s no extra fee for coming out to South East London. When you contact us, we assign the nearest available engineer and in most cases can get someone to you the same day or next day. You pay for the repair, nothing else.

The engineer will diagnose the problem at your home or office and, where possible, fix it on the spot. Most software problems, virus removals and many hardware repairs can be sorted in one visit. If something needs workshop time – a motherboard repair or a screen that needs a specific part ordered in – the engineer will explain that clearly, take the machine away, and get it back to you as quickly as possible.

There’s no obligation after the diagnostic either. If it turns out the repair isn’t worth doing given the age or value of the machine, we’ll tell you that honestly rather than take your money.

What people in SE London usually bring to us

Broken laptop screens

Probably the most common thing we deal with. Cracked screens, black screens, screens with lines through them – we replace them on all makes and models including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer and Apple MacBooks. Laptop screen repair is usually a 24-48 hour turnaround once we have the correct part.

Liquid damage

Spilled coffee on the keyboard, laptop went through the wash in a bag, kid knocked a drink over it – we see this a lot. The important thing with liquid damage is speed. The sooner it gets looked at the better the chances of saving it, so don’t leave it sitting in a bag of rice for three days and hope for the best. Call us.

Slow or virus-infected computers

If your machine has slowed to a crawl, keeps showing pop-ups, or has started doing things you didn’t ask it to do, it’s usually either heavily infected or just badly in need of a clean-up. Virus and malware removal is one of our most requested jobs and can almost always be done on the same day.

MacBook repairs

We repair the full Mac range – MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac. Screen replacements, battery replacements, keyboard issues, water damage – older models and newer ones. If your nearest Apple Store is telling you it’s not repairable or the quote is eye-watering, it’s worth getting a second opinion.

Desktop PCs that have given up

Won’t turn on, freezes constantly, making alarming noises, lost all its data – we handle desktop repairs at your home or office too. No need to try and drag it to a shop.

Keyboard and power problems

Keyboard replacements, power jack repairs (the socket you charge through), hard drive and SSD upgrades – these are all straightforward jobs we do regularly.

A few questions we get asked a lot

You pay for the work we do, not for showing up.

Usually same day or next day. If it’s urgent, call us directly and we’ll do our best.

Yes – our workshop in South Woodford is the nearest drop-off point. Details on the South Woodford page including opening hours and how to get there.

We’ll say so. There’s no point charging you for a repair on a seven-year-old laptop that would cost more to fix than replace. You’ll get an honest answer either way.

Yes, both. Windows laptops and desktops, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac – all of it.

All of them. Greenwich, Lewisham, Bermondsey, Peckham, Forest Hill, Sydenham, Bromley, Beckenham, Eltham, Woolwich, Charlton, Blackheath, New Cross, Catford – if your postcode starts with SE, we cover it.
